Miss Moon: Wise Words from a Dog Governess.

“The prim and proper Miss Moon has learned valuable lessons over the course of her employment, which are here shared alongside ornate oil paintings with a luxuriousness usually reserved for, well, cat people.” — National Post

“A wide variety of dog breeds are accurately portrayed in a post-impressionist style—except for the anthropomorphic details that cannot help but charm viewers. (All the dogs in “Never stop learning” wear glasses, and two carry pens in their mouths.) And what a talent Hill has for that mea culpa doggy look!” — Kirkus Review

“This is Mary Poppins (or Mary Poochins) meets Renoir: the paintings are lush but restrained and the style balances the delightful absurdity of images like a golden retriever picnicking in full Napoleon regalia.” — Quill & Quire

I wold love to read your book but I don’t know where to buy it. I can’t find it electronically.

    • Hi Helen, The book should be widely available in most book stores, but if you can’t locate one near you, it’s on Amazon.com or you can order one from Fanfare Books in Stratford, Ontario and they will be happy to ship to you. Fanfare Books has signed copies!

Dear Janet, My good friend and neighbor just dropped by to give me your book. I am ever so touched and also, in love. 🙂 Your book is beautiful! The biggest reason it brings so much comfort and love and inspiration to me, is this past May, I tragically was struck while walking our two dogs in our neighborhood one morning. I lived, but my dogs perished. From then, I wrote a book (on Amazon) and have been in major repair mode with our family, friends, and neighborhood. The only thing that has helped is focusing on the positive despite everything. I am, as my neighbor put it, this town’s “Miss Moon”. 🙂 I hold that statement and title very high and am so proud to have your book! Thank you. You are so very, very talented and gifted! A fan from Northern California, Anne Elizabeth Palmer, Saratoga, California 🙂

    • I’m so very sorry to hear about your dogs. A terrible tragedy. I am glad to hear that you are enjoying Miss Moon and to be told that you are the ‘Miss Moon’ of your town is a testament to your love of our four legged friends!
