I can't quite explain why I'm painting ladies in their underwear these days. Maybe it's the warm weather?

Even though I really don't take many weekends off , I think I'm going to give it a try for this one. It's been a long week of painting and it's giving me stiff shoulders and a wonky neck. I think I'll try and do the standard things like going to the market and perhaps even cut the grass. This will fill John with fear though as the last time I cut the grass, I ran over the power cord twice and almost got electrocuted. This incident caused John to study my every move for about a week and determine that I might have ADD or something of that nature. Basically, I don't pay attention to what I'm doing because I'm constantly being distracted, or I simply lose interest and walk away. Earlier in the week I somehow managed to get our coffee maker to explode all over the kitchen which I didn't even notice. Coffee grinds flying, hissing, smoke, and a funny smell didn't even tip me off that something was terribly wrong. I got in big trouble for that one. Sniff.
Here are a couple more for the 364 Days Of Dresses series. I think the Napoleon Dress is fairly obvious, but with the Frenchie Dress I was just looking to capture the pretty cream colour of French Bulldogs with their cute black noses.

There's something about this painting that reminds me of the film 'Pretty In Pink'. Such a classic. I've been after John to get a decent John Hughes collection going but for some inexplicable reason he hasn't quite managed to do it in spite of his mutual appreciation for Hughes' films. We have 'Humanoids From The Deep' and all other sorts of nonsense, but no 'Sixteen Candles' or 'Breakfast Club'.
Pout.
