It was really difficult to get a decent photo of this today because of the fog and the fact that I think it started to get dark at around 3:30pm. Does anyone else find this time of year depressing?

I was inspired this week to get into the Christmas spirit. This is a rare thing for me to get into the Christmas spirit so early. I used to own a retail store and I think it zapped all of the Christmas spirit right out of me for years and years and made me very cynical. The holidays aren't exactly kind to those who have to sell merchandise to panicked or tired customers. This year, things seem to be different though...
Oh, and it looks like this will turn up as a Christmas card in my etsy shop in a couple of weeks....so keep an eye out! Oh, and yes, this is a version of my 'Shoe Talk' painting.
