I priced this one a wee bit higher than normal because I really don't want to sell it....I usually hate my paintings that I produce for at least a good solid year, then after that, I seem to be able to find something redeeming about each one. No one is harder on my work than I am. With this painting though, I really enjoyed painting it. I'm not sure if it's the whole glamour girl in the country, or maybe I'm just so proud at my first attempt at painting geese.....those are geese? Right? Whatever the reason, it will be harder to give it up. But like any starving artist, I do have my price.

This one makes me want to read Barbara Cartland! I used to love them when I was younger! It is beautiful – I can see that the day you took “off” has done you good!
