I'll be taking a break from posting any new work until Monday. I'm having a mini-breakdown dealing with shipping prints and getting caught up on emails, problems, and paperwork. Lately, I have found myself moving further and further away from producing original work and more and more time packing up prints and dealing with the more business related side of what I do. I'm considering not offering prints anymore (or at least for a while) because of all the extra work involved, and I feel that I need to come up with a more efficient system getting them packed up and shipped out without cutting my day in half.
I have so many amazing buyers and wonderful people that I have met through etsy and my blog, and I love what I do when I'm in my studio, but sometimes the other side of this business can be pretty disheartening. Ugh. I'm just feeling sorry for myself today.

I think that tomorrow I'll be able to post at my normal 7pm est. This 'Birthday Week' of my husband's creation has been extremely trying on the nerves and my pocket book. I've woken up with hangovers, foodovers, and other maladies that no one should ever have to go through. On top of all this excitement, one of my good friends is having twins as I write this. I assume that means more hangovers, foodovers and other maladies. I will likely be taking the weekend off to visit her and the tiny tots in Toronto.

My apologies for not listing these on my blog yesterday. I listed them in my etsy store last night then somehow managed to forget to post them on my blog.
Just a heads up about posting times for the next few days. I’ve embarked on what my husband describes as his ‘birthday week’ so there are a number of little events going on for the next few days as my husband hits the 40 year mark (heh heh, I still have just over five years before I do that), so paintings will be posted at odd times for the next little while. I won’t be posting anything today, but should have two ready for tomorrow and will try and post them at around 4:00 est.
