I had a photo shoot today for one of my large gallery works and I’ll be posting that painting on my blog next week along with the gallery details for anyone intersted in purchasing one of my large works which I don’t sell on etsy.

This afternoon as I was procrastinating (yet again) I decided to get to work on setting up my summer bar. Yes, I have a summer bar. I love summer and everything that goes with it- unbearable heat, thunderstorms, sundresses, and of course, the summer cocktail. My favourite summer cocktails include the classic gin and tonic, Pimm’s cocktail (loaded with cucumbers and fruit), Margarita, and a good old fashioned Mint Julep. This year though, I’m introducing a new one that is featured in Oprah’s cookbook called a ‘Dark and Stormy’. It consists of rum, ginger beer (yum), and lime juice. I can’t think of anything more perfect to sip during a spectacular thunderstorm.
