The Queen Bed, oil on canvas, 8″x10″.SOLD.

This room reminds me of a place a stayed in while I was in Italy many years ago although, as I’m typing this I have become aware that there was no chandelier, or mirror or pretty headboard. I suppose it’s just the feel of a place. It was in a Palazzo in Florence that I was staying in with my friend Karen. We had to share a queen bed, so as two mature adults would do, we drew an imaginary line down the middle of it, then continued to fight with each other when the other one dared cross it with a foot or an arm. I then happily snored in her face for the rest of the trip. I’m so sorry Karen but you were a real trooper!

This is my dream tub. A glass of champagne, a few chocolates, a good book….What a perfect way to spend an hour. I can almost sense my husband’s disappointment.

And for all of you shoe lovers, I’ll be posting a couple tomorrow!
