My apologies to anyone who was checking to see my evening painting. I don’t have one. I spent the day setting up another studio and it took a lot longer than I thought it would so there was virtually no time to paint. Also, I’ve been getting a number of emails as to when I post paintings on Etsy, and generally I list them between 7:30-8:00pm, but that’s Ontario time, and after almost failing geography in grade 10, I really couldn’t tell you what time zone I’m in, and much to the dismay of my mother who is a retired geography teacher, I couldn’t even list Canada’s provinces in order from east to west etc or vice versa.
I know, one should never admit to such unbelievable ignorance.

No Evening Painting Tonight

Here I am making a creepy face at the opening of ‘Small Is Good’ at the Stratford Art Gallery. I always get nervous in front of the camera and end up making odd faces. Sometimes I even make myself look like Monica Lewinsky. It’s a talent.

Miss Lily, oil on canvas, 8″x10. SOLD.

This is Miss Lily, and I’ll admit there is a definite ‘Atonement’ quality to her, which was oddly unintentional. I am in love with that famous green dress in that movie, so perhaps it was swimming around in my subconscious just waiting to be painted.
