Julie Blue’s Marvelous New Swim Cap

Julie Blue’s Marvelous New Swim Cap, oil on canvas, 10″x12″.  Sold.

I don’t really know what to say about this piece, but I will point out that there is a frog in her marvelous swim cap.   I will also state that I’m delirious today because this is the first day that I was able to wear shoes outside.  I was so excited about this that I called them ‘non-boots’ to the sales lady where I buy my canvases from.  She replied by saying ‘You mean, shoes?’   It has been so long, that I had forgotten the name for them….and that is a sad thing.

  1. I saw Mr. Frog right off. He’s loving his perch. And that is one fine bathing cap. I’d wear one like that! After the winter we’ve had, I think everyone’s in the mood for some nifty bathing caps and non-boots.

  2. I want the world to know that Janet Hill is 4 sales away from her 10,000th sale on Etsy! That is a fantastic achievement. Think of the originals and prints and packaging and mailing never mind the creativity and talent and skill. Yes, I’m her proud mother but still Janet and John have so much to be proud of and to celebrate!!!
