The Mindy Project

And now onto some happy news.   Two of my prints are on The Mindy Project television series!   Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a really good shot of them as the camera moves so quickly but there they are- well one that you can see in this shot, my ‘Minnie Was An Aggressive Driver‘ and above it is ‘Her Face Launched A Thousand Ships‘.  When they bought the prints I was notified that they would likely be on the show but it’s one of those things where you never know if they will actually be used on set.  I was delighted as I really like Mindy Kaling – she is a funny lady and a scene- stealer which I guess is why she has her own show now.   It really perked up my day when I saw them as well as several other fellow etsy artists’ work featured on the show. Yay!

I also want to thank everyone for the amazing amount of support and information that has been provided to me on the less pleasant topic in my last post.  I can’t discuss anything further but I just wanted to sincerely thank you for all your help and concern.

I was able to get into my studio yesterday and complete a piece that I hope to post later today.  Onwards and upwards!

I’ve been enjoying promoting your wonderful talent via the Holiday issue of HOF and sending people your way via facebook & twitter. Have a wonderful Holiday Season Janet!

  4. You know what this makes me think of? Remember when we had Michael Merryl in first year and he showed us some of his work and one of his paintings was in that Sheila McCarthy movie, “I hear the Mermaids Singing”? That!

I was so excited to see your work oblast night’s episode of Mindy (which I watched tonight). I noticed the pieces outside her bathroom and thought they might have been yours. I was so delighted when I searched after the episode and found this post. Congratulations! I have purchased a couple of prints and just love your work.
