Christmas Belles, 11"x14", oil on canvas.  For sale on etsy.

This one is pretty much a sequel to the 'Deck The Heels' card that I did last year.  We're busy working on our Christmas cards right now and hope to get them up in the shop late  next week.  We finally invested in a high end printer capable of handling fine art printing, so it's exciting and challenging to do the work ourselves.  A lot of wasted paper (sorry trees) as we've been working through the kinks, but I think we've got things sorted out now.

  1. Lovely Janet,
O’ I absolutely ADORE the centre lady! Love her dress, her hair, even the way she holds the little gift! I think this makes the perfect Christmas card and I can’t wait to buy some!

  2. Oh, and, don’t forget to take a look at the vintage records case on my blog. Maybe you could include something like that in one of your paintings. It has a handle that isn’t showing in the photo. I’ll take another pic, and include the handle.

  4. oh, I know, I know! Miss Red Dress is looking at the other girls for a pose cue, the camera shot and, too bad. It caught her profile instead. I love her “Santa” dress, flowers and shoes!

  5. Hi Janet,
I am a fashion Illustrator based in Ireland, and an admirer of your work, just to say, I was in my local card store (on the very, very west coast of Ireland, Europe)when out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of your card Happy Christmas to My beautiful wife” I believe it was called, I was delighted to see it, It looks fabulous, distinctive, charming and stylish , stands out a mile from all the other cards surrounding it.

I’m always happy when I see something authentically stylish in the marketplace,
    best wishes,
    Eva
