  2. I’m from Charleston and I love it!! It’s a favorite for many people and once you’ve been, you know why. The beautiful water, the art galleries and antique shops, the weather, the food, the friendly people. Heaven. All my family has stayed there but I’m in Utah- another beautiful place but, sadly, at the moment, covered in tons of snow!! Where’s the beach when you need it?!

Oh yes, the food is one of my favourites. Oh, and the architecture. So amazing.

I just found a box of Zatarain’s hush puppy mix in the back of my kitchen cupboard. Add to that some catfish, collard greens and a glass of cold buttermilk. Which is to say that I agree with you. And I’m a Canadian.

    Must be a Canadian thing…!

I live in Charleston and started a magazine there called Skirt! in 1996. Sold it and stayed on as publisher. I’d love to use one of your pieces on our cover sometime. I just wrote fan mail about your work on my other personal blog (www.creativefirstaid.tumblr.com).
